The Spanish designer Lorena Canals started producing rugs for the children's room in the design city of Barcelona in 1990, because she was not happy with the existing range. She specifically wanted to make a rug that was easy to clean. Because children and messing around go together. She succeeded and her brand became a great success. Also because she had and has a great talent for designing timeless, imaginative designs. From geometric to nature-based and from classic to frivolous. In addition, she has had an eye for the environment and fair distribution when it comes to labor from the start.

Wool + Washable = Woolable

Lorena Canals products are very diverse, yet always recognizable. They arise from a successful marriage between craft traditions and design and modern business operations. This is particularly true of Woolable, the line of woolen, washable rugs and accessories that was launched on the market in 2019.
