With the washable Veggie Garden rug, children can role-play without making a mess!

The surface resembles a plush cotton playmat more than a regular rug and hides small pockets into which vegetables can be 'planted'.

The even design, in the natural beige of the cotton fiber itself, combines different pile heights and multiple stitching techniques - cut pile, loop and chenille - to achieve a mixed-texture finish, while the uneven contour gives an organic look to the rectangular shape.

The rug comes with a drawstring bag containing 15 handmade cotton canvas vegetables, a combination of carrots, radishes and kale leaves. These can be placed in the pockets of the blanket for some DIY gardening fun. Everything is packed in a practical, illustrated cotton carrying bag in which the rug can also be stored.
